DD 889

Hey Guys,

I just visited the new site and want to thank Rich et.al. for their work and dedication keeping O'Hare in the SPECIAL place she belongs.

Just one small bitch; I am from the DD-889 tenure after the Fram - Tram. We took on a whole different look, with ASROC amid-ship, DASH aft, and MK 32 Tubes forward on the 01 level, and in Fact became a formitable ASW tincan. I hope to see some photos of O'Hare as the great DD she was in my day as well. With all respect to my DDR fellow shipmates, i submit this for discussion and possibly someone has photos to offer Rich et.al. for addition to the site.

Many Thanks,

David

Posted to: DD 889
